4. Суниты vs. Шииты: существует много общего между ними, но есть два фундаментальных отличия в их убеждениях, разделявших их на протяжении столетий.

5. Суниты верят в священство первых четырех халифов. Хотя они и признают Али, тем не менее для них он не играет такой роли, как для Шиитов. Шииты убеждены, что Али был прямым правопреемником Пророка и в действительности предпочитают называть халифов Имамами.

4. Sunnis vs. Shiites : There are a number of similarities between these two sects, however there are two fundamental differences in their beliefs which have divided them for centuries. 5. Sunnis believe in the order of the first four caliphs. While they accept Ali, they do not place him as important as the Shiites do. Shiites adhere to the belief of Ali as the Prophet's rightly guided successor and actually prefer to call the caliphs, Imams.
